Parrot Rescue and Re-homing
Several years ago we were envolved in parrot rescue. It was a joy to rehabilitate parrots that were unable to be handled and place them into homes where they could become an active member of the family.
We have decided that since Ottawa will be lacking in a wonderful parrot rescue due to closure we are going to get back into it.
Families with parrots sometimes find themselves in the same situation as families with dogs. For many reasons they are no longer able to give them the home they feel that they deserve.
We will not judge your reasons for giving up your parrot. All we ask is to have as much detail of the birds history as possible in order to help find them the best home possible for their specific needs. Cage and supplies must come with parrot to reduce stress on the bird. Their cage is their home and the place where they are most comfortable.
We love our parrots as we do our dogs and will offer your parrot the best forever home possible.
As parrots become available for adoption/placement we will provide a detailed profile of available birds as well as an adoption application for those interested in giving them a wonderful home.

Species, age, name, health status, list behaviour problems if any, reason for rehoming, your name, contact number.
A detailed history will be taken prior to parrot coming to us.
If requested parrot will remain in our home with us and will not be placed.
